Pad - July 20th
A&W is my favorite root beer! I drink diet root beer as a treat - to me it's like dessert, and when I moved here I discovered that the stores did not carry diet A&W root beer, they only had Barq's diet root beer. Well, a couple of weeks ago they started carrying A&W! Woo-hoo! Here's to dessert!

Here's my baby boy! I remember not too long ago when he would lay like that with his cute little rump in the air and his little legs sticking out - ah, those were the days!

PAD July 17th

I painted my toenails - here's the pic: This color is the only color I have in the apt. All my other polish is packed away somewhere in storage.

PAD July 15th

I snapped this pic of my wedding ring. It's a bit blurry, I had it on the wrong setting, but I guess you get the idea. After losing weight, it falls off a lot, so I don't wear it all the time. I even lost it in the pool a few weeks ago while tossing a ball back and forth with Micki! I was upset when I realized I was standing next to a grate in the pool, but thankfully Micki dove in and retrieved them right away.

PAD - July 14th

Here is another kitty picture, and it isn't our kitty! I woke up to howls about 3 AM and they didn't quit. Chad got home at 4 AM and the kitten was still howling. I had peeked through the blinds and saw a kitten running back and forth across the parking lot. When I took Clue for his morning walk she started up again, turns out she was up underneath my car and I had Micki retrieve her. Now the dilemma is that she is very sweet and we can't find her owners. I need to get rid of her before the kids get any more attached, or she to us.

Here's our tiny master closet. I could fit several of these in my closet back home, but again, it's not too bad for an apt.

Derek took this picture on July 11th. It is poor Furby getting a much needed makeover - ha ha!!! He looks so psycho with those hollow eyes, and boy, he was NOT pleased! LOL

PAD July 10th

What's in YOUR pantry? I snapped a pic of my pantry today. It's really not too shabby for an apt. pantry - I don't think I've seen anyone in an apt. with as much space as this. It's nowhere near the storage I have back home, and I HATE the metal grid shelves, but beggars can't be choosers, right?

Micki and I went for a walk today and took my camera. I had to share this one b/c it is just too funny - typical dog with a fire hydrant.

Here is my picture - I was looking in my mirror adjusting my hat and saw the kitty through it in the living room so I had to snatch a picture!

I've been playing around with photoshop and after a lot of trial and error and suggestions I've figured out how to do some special effects. Here are a couple of pics I worked on today.

I took a picture of Clue. He likes to snuggle under the computer desk while I'm on. I love to put my feet on him, it's like having a nice snuggly warm silky pair of slippers.

LIE - LIE - LIE!!! This picture is a lie I tell ya! The kids only posed for this picture, they are NOT sweet and loving towards each other like this. Oh well, one can pretend anyway, at least on 4th of July. We had a pretty mundane and boring 4th. No fireworks, picnics or anything special. I took the kids shopping in the afternoon for some much needed clothes, and we made out like bandits. There were a lot of great deals. We bought stuff at Kohl's, Mervyn's and Penney's and wound up shutting the mall down. Like a true scrapbooker, I had to bring my camera to document our 4th, even if it was just shopping.
